Hi there, I'm Stephen Lee Mowat, friends call me Steve. I'm a fine artist and I draw pet portraits for people, also city sketches and work in charcoal. You can get a behind-the-scenes look at what I do on my Patreon page.

What Got You Into Art?

I like what I see, who's behind it?

As a boy, I would draw all the time. It wasn't until moving from the UK to Asia I began working as an educator, which gave me the tools to teach art, as well as create art. I'm inspired by the places I visit and people I meet, and their pets of course!

I create for the heck of it. I love to see people smile because of my art. I’m building a place for people to learn about art, view art, and create art. In time I want to form a community of artists to make the world brighter.

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, over twenty years. I entered the New Pitsligo Visual Arts Exhibition in the early 2000s and won all the awards for pencil drawing. I have a range of work showing what I do.
